John P. Timmons received his B.A. with honors in 1981, from the University of California, San Diego. He received his law degree from the McGeorge School of Law in 1985, and was admitted to the State Bar of California in the same year. Mr. Timmons is also admitted to practice law in the United States District Court, Eastern District.
Mr. Timmons became an associate of the firm in 1985, and a partner in 1988. Mr. Timmons has practiced workers' compensation law since 1985, and serves as Judge Pro Tem for the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of the State of California.
Mr. Timmons is a member of the State Bar of California, the Sacramento County Bar Association, the California Applicants' Attorneys Association and the Consumer Attorneys of California.
Mr. Timmons' practice is solely in the area of workers' compensation.

Allan J. Owen is the managing partner of the firm. He graduated with honors from the University of California, Davis, and was elected to the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Mr. Owen graduated with distinction from the McGeorge School of Law in 1979, and was made a lifetime member of the Traynor Honor Society at McGeorge. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1979, and is also admitted to practice law in the United States District Court, Eastern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth District.
Throughout his career, Mr. Owen has specialized in representing injured consumers in personal injury cases of all types and in insurance litigation. Mr. Owen has been involved in 11 cases resulting in published Appellate decisions, including the case that tested the constitutionality of the Medical Malpractice Reform Act of 1976. He has represented more than 1000 injured consumers with cases ranging from simple auto accidents to complex nationwide litigation involving the Swine Flu vaccinations and the 1978 PSA airplane crash. For 15 years, Mr. Owen practiced law with Morton L. Friedman, the preeminent personal injury attorney in the Sacramento area.
Mr. Owen is a member of the State Bar of California as well as the American and Sacramento County Bar Associations and the Consumer Attorneys of California. He is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He has served on the board of the Sacramento Consumer Attorneys and was President in 1992. He has also served as an arbitrator and Judge Pro Tem for the Sacramento County Superior Court.
William J. Owen graduated from the University of California, Davis, in 1969, with a B.A. degree in political science. He then received his law degree from the University of California, Davis, Martin Luther King Hall, in 1972. Mr. Owen began practice in Sacramento in 1973, and has tried more than 50 cases to a jury verdict. In 1995, he tried the Marysville School District shooting case. William Owen, along with his brother Allan, won a large civil jury trial in early 2000.
He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1972, and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Eastern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth District.
Mr. Owen specializes in representing injured consumers in personal injury cases of all types. He also practiced criminal defense for over 25 years. Mr. Owen is a member of the California State Bar, the Sacramento County Bar Association, and the Consumer Attorneys of California. In 1995, he received the President's Award for service to the Sacramento County Bar.

Daniel G. Tichy is an associate attorney with Timmons, Owen & Owen, Inc. Prior to his employment with Timmons, Owen & Owen, Inc. he practiced Insurance Defense, Workers' Compensation Subrogation, and litigation in both state and federal courts. Mr. Tichy's trial experience also included prosecuting misdemeanors for the Oregon District Attorney's Office.
Mr. Tichy earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2003, where he served as an associate editor for the Oregon Review of International Law. He also attended University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where he earned a Certificate in International Legal Studies in 2000 while studying under U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Villanova University where he also played NCAA Division 1 water polo. His area of practice with the firm is workers' compensation. Mr. Tichy continues to serve the legal community as a board member of the Sacramento County Barristers' Club. His memberships include the State Bar of California, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, United States District Court for the Eastern, Northern, Southern and Central Districts of California and the American Bar Association.
